Presenting the 1st Annual BARE (Bar And Restaurant Employee) Ball held on January 2, 2012, from 8 p.m. to midnight at ERA Art Bar & Lounge in Oakland, California. This is an industry-centric event; however, friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $40 and include complimentary cocktails and food. DJ Lexx Jones will provide the music to move to and local designer Iditate Clothing will collaborate with Goorin Bros. Hat Company to present a fashion show. “Mad Men” era attire is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed guy and doll. There is also a tequila cocktail showcase in which participating submissions will be judged and prizes will be awarded. An iPad2 will be raffled off during the event and all proceeds will be donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank, on behalf of bar and restaurant employees, and in the name of OaklanDrinks.
